Trip to the zoo

When visiting the zoo like we did on the weekend, the crop-sensor EOS 7D body really comes in handy. Since the crop sensor increases the focal length, you can zoom in quite close even with just a 70-200mm, since on the crop with factor 1.6 the focal length increases to 112-320mm. This way, taking detailed pictures of animals becomes a lot easier – although sometimes I miss image stabilisation on my 70-200mm f4. But apart from that, this lens is amazing at a reasonable price and a great tele lens on the crop.
