I love it when everything falls into place. Photographing a wedding is one of the most ambitious tasks you could take on – so much is happening, all the time, and you don’t want to miss a moment. Moreover, you want to capture every moment in the perfect way – with the most suitable lens, most suitable light, most suitable expression, most suitable setting.
Two weeks ago, my fiancée and I had been attending Sandy & Manuels wedding as photographers, near German city Weimar. That day, we’ve been taking almost 4,000 pictures. Below you find the in my opinion 10 best of those – although the choice is almost impossible.
But anyway, for me personally, I just loved to be able to get the most out of my gear. My 6D Mark II, the Sigma 35mm ART, and my new additions Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8 and the brand new Canon EF 85mm 1.4 – they all paid off in a huge way. Great gear, and the results really show me the difference to my “crop sensor times” with the 7D (and no L lenses). Still you need to have a rough idea what to do with that gear – but it definitely makes a difference.
